Digital labbench

September 2011

A new interactive workbench developed in a collaboration between iNANO at Aarhus University and the IT University of Copenhagen (ITU) has been launched in co-developer Ebbe Sloth Andersen's lab. The workbench is a laboratory bench called the ‘eLabBench’ designed to be used by researchers during their experiments. The benchtop is one large touch screen on which the researcher can take readings and work directly with protocols, data analyses, images and graphs. The eLabBench builds upon the CDNA wiki-system developed and maintained by PhD student Rasmus Schøler Sørensen.
